Last night Hawaii Parrot Heads were treated to a fantastic show at Jimmy Buffett’s at the Beach Comber.  The main act was none other than the ‘Man” himself, Jimmy Buffett along with band members Mac McAnally, Jake Shimabukuro and Robert Greenwich.  Fellow Pau Hana ParrotHeads Phlocked in from San Diego, Seattle and elsewhere around the country for this non advertised last minute show.  It was a really unique way to see Jimmy up close,  in person for this entirely acoustic show.  Most of the Phlock agreed, it was the best outing with Jimmy they’ve been too yet…Please check out our photo gallery for some great pics.

The Pau Hana Parrotheads did their part to clean up the world’s oceans and local beach’s on Sept 19th 2009, in conjunction with the International Marine Debris Clean-Up Day.  Six hardworking Parrotheads spent the morning collection nearly 25lbs of assorted marine trashed, which had washed up along the shoreside of Makapu’u’ beach.  Many a lost flip flop’s and we found, along with assorted fishing nets and and even a spare tire.  Afterwords everyone met up at the Ferstler’s home in Kailua for a fantastic feed, boat ride on the canal and live music by John Cannizzaro…
