  • December 19, 2011 - Dec 17th Pau Hana Christmas Party - Aloha, - Thanksto all the Pau Hana Parrot Heads who were able to make it out to our annual Christmas event this past Saturday night at Cha Cha Cha's in Hawaii Kai. We had aturn outwith a total of 27 members showing up at some point throughout the night.Mahalo to board member Jeff Eck forcarrying out theMC duties and keeping the gift exchange interesting.There wasquite a variety to choose from this year, ranging from a quite exquisite wine holder complete with bottles of wine, 12 pack of Landshark's, a flamingo yardpieceand maybe the most passed around item of the night a "Chairman Mao" watch!!! - Those who were able to stick around until later in the evening were treated to one of the bestBoat Christmas Light Parade's on Oahu. Seem's like the number of entries were down this year, but those who participated whet all out and put on a really fantastic show.   • November 29, 2011 - Oct 28th Pau Hana Friday Gathering - On October 28th the Pau Hana Parrot Heads met for a "Pau Hana Friday" gathering at one of our favorite watering holes, The Dixie Grill in Aiea. Fourteen members were able to make the monthly social, enjoy some great Happy Hour drinks and pupus and listen to some Buffett and Trop Rock favorites. We had the pleasure of welcoming new club member Mark Jones, who has come to us from the Birmingham Al club.   • September 25, 2011 - Sept 24 Rob Mehl House Concert - Aloha, - Great time for all those who came out this past Saturday night for Rob Mehl's House Concert at the Waikiki Yacht Club. Rob put on a fantastic show for our small group, it was a really magical night. He incorporates many of the sights and sounds of old Waikiki into his Trop Rock song lyrics and stories. Most likely one of the best performances to ever hit the Yacht Club. Hoping to catch his act again sometime in the future when he comes back to the Islands to produce his upcoming CD. - A big Mahalo also to club member and sponsor Lyle Holden for reserving the venue for our group, and our VP Deane Leidholt for use of his sound equipment.   • August 26, 2011 - Aug 20th Late Summer Membership Bash - Phinz Up to all those who were able to attend our annual "Late Summer Memership Bash" at Jimmy Buffett's this past Saturday Aug 20th. We kicked off the event at 3:00pm with Domonique and Bronson, the guys from Borderline who put on a fantastic set. The duo covered many Island favorites as well as some Buffett, Zac Brown and Kenny Cheney hits. Bronson ripped it up with his Ukulele, probably one of the best solo's ever performed on the "Porch of Indecision". - At around 4:45pm Trop Rock entertainer Scotty Bryan took the stage and did not disappoint. He covered many Buffett tunes old and new along with other Trop Rock favorites and some originals, putting on another unforgettable performance that lasted until Buffett's shut the place down at around 9:00pm. - MC Jeff Eck, kept the show moving smoothly during the breaks with plenty of great door and raffle prizes.   • July 5, 2011 - May 28 Business Meeting - May 28th, 2011 Pau Hana ParrotHead Club Business Meeting at Jimmy Buffett's at the Beachcomber - Call, Second, Discuss and Vote on Motion - Call Meeting to order at 4:00pm at Jimmy Buffett's by President Lee Walters - Roll Call: Amy Cichowski; Lee Walters; Dean Leidholt; David Isaacson, Tommy Bullard, Karen Bullard. - Treasurer Report: Not available. - Previous minutes approved. - Old Business: - Elections for 2011 completed March 7th 2011. All officer postions remain unchanged, one new board member David Isaacson elected. - New Business: - Discussion of activities for 2011 "Late Summer Bash" to be held at Jimmy Buffett's at the Beachcomber on August 20th 2011 from 3-8pm. All arrangements have been made with Randy Caleskie and David Erp of Jimmy Buffett's. - Motion made by President Lee Walters to use $500 of club funds towards airfare for Scotty Bryan to play event, remainder will be made by donation from club officers.
