Call Meeting to order 7:35 PM @ USCG HIDEAWAY CLUB
Roll Call –Pres.-Tommy Bullard, Sec.-Lee Walters, Board Members, Deane Leidholt, Amy Chichowski, and member Joe Crockett
Reading of the Minutes-Provided by Lee Walters (Minutes Accepted)
Officer Reports-Treasurer Reports $2191.17, prior to Hawaii GET taxes being paid. After taxes paid balance will be $1027.96.
Committee Reports-
Pau Hana Charity/Community Service Coordinator Amy Chichowski delivered $100 worth of food items to Hawaii Food Bank after our March Social at the Waikiki Yacht Club. Much thanks to member Clay Deaver for organizing the event and providing our club access to the Yacht Club.
Old Unfinished Business:
Deane Leidholt Coordinated Making of Membership Tags, All Tags Made for current members and he will continue to make the new tags as needed. He has been reimbursed for the second batch of tags sent out and will make badge for entertainer John Canizzarro. Stickers showing continuation of membership each year will be given out at meetings, or mailed out upon request.
Continue Bob Buttworth’s services for club website.
Pau Hana Club point system ongoing, maintained by club secretary and added to by-laws. Points will be used to determine eligibility for club concert tickets and special event tickets at JB’s at the Beachcomber.
Club accounting is up to date with Federal, State Taxes filed this month.
Pau Hana Parrothead Club Incorporation Completed with the club receiving our Federal Non-Profit status this month.
New Business:
Motion made by Lee Walters to change club due cycle from Jan 1 –Jan 1 of each year. Anyone joining after July of each year will have upcoming year’s dues prorated/discounted. Seconded by Deane Leidholt and passed.
Member Joe Crockett has volunteered to be a sitting board member until upcoming elections to fill one of several vacant spots. Motion made by President Tommy Bullard to accept Joe as member, seconded by Amy Chichowski and carried.
Board Member Amy Chichowski suggested that we purchase a receipt book to be used for club donations now that we are a Non Profit Club. Also point made that we should have an official club letterhead made using current club logo. Secretary Lee Walters will pick up a receipt book and look into having a club stamp designed. Board member Deane Leidholt will check into designing a club letterhead.
Club Secretary Lee Walters will have more Pau Hana business cards made at printing shop in Kapolei with same design as last year. Motion made by President Tommy Bullard to use club funds to make cards, seconded by Deane Leiholt and carried.
Monthly club phlockings will continue the last Sunday of each month, but location my change from month to month. The upcoming April Social will be back at Jimmy Buffett’s at the Beachcomber on April 25th 3-6pm. May social will be back at Waikiki Yacht club if the venue is available to us. Live music will be provided as available.
A June Duck Boat trip or Waikiki Catamaran trip will be planned, date to be set at upcoming meeting.
Elections 2010:
Elections have been deleted from normal February timeframe until April, due to military members Tommy Bullard and Fred Becker not receiving orders until this past month. Tommy will be leaving the club for several years for Kodiak Alaska and Fred will be heading back to Florida. We thank Tommy for his fantastic service over the past years as club President and Fred as well for coming through as a much need board member.
Elections for 2010 will start immediately via email with President Tommy Bullard sending out notice of election and call for nominations on April 9th. Nominations will be taken for club President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer as well as four board member positions.

-April 15 Nominations will be published via email to club members and voting will start.
-April 20 Voting will be complete and results posted via email and website.
All members interested in taking part in organizational activates are encouraged to take part, self nominations are encouraged as well.
Next meeting will be held in May.
