The month of February provided the Pau Hana ParrotHeads several opportunities to phlock. On the 23th we were invited to help celebrate Vida Voroninkaitis 50th Birthday with her in the Surfb0ard Room at Jimmy Buffett’s. Vida, is one of our international member’s who travels here all the way from Calgary Canada to party with our chapter. She is also President of the Calgary ParrotHead Club, and brought along part of her phlock to help celebrate the big occasion. JB’s did a fintastic job, putting on a generous spread of pupus, salsa bar and a very delicious Birthday cake.
The 28th of February brought the club back to the SurfBoard Bar for our monthly social Phlocking. Again a good time was had by all, with 18 in attendance as well as some of our Canadian friends as well as a couple from the Tulsa ParrotHead Club who happend to wander in. John Canizzarro and Clay Deaver provided some great live music throught the afternoon. Hopefully we can get Jason to open the doors for us next time we do an event at JB’s, and introduce more island ParrotHeads to our Phlock. Next event is March 28th at the Waikiki Yacht Club, please feel free to bring along anyone who might be interested in joining our group.
